Russian Govt control on Internet tightens – Quick wrap

The Financial Times has reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin had signed a bill into law that will tighten government control over the use of Internet.

The new law requires Russian ISPs to unplug from foreign servers, & also for the creation of a national domain system that would allow the country to stay Online if it was ever cut off from the global internet.
