Engage your readers with ‘Story View for WordPress’ – Startups

post engagement

Content is king, but nowadays most people are pressed for time — there’s just so much information on the Internet begging our attention that it’s difficult to hold & engage visitors.

So, as a blogger or Content creator wanting to retain your audience, what can you do to make your slice of the Net stand out? Post engagement has many meanings & tricks. How can you shine in a sky of stars? Well, it’s quite simple really, you need some sort of attention grabbing focus for your story — something different, attractive…special.

As if he has an ear to the ground, Ferenc Forgacs, a developer based in Hungary, has built a WordPress plugin called Story View  which could go a long way to solving any problems you might be experiencing when attempting to grow engagement for your blog posts.

Story View creates a summarized version of your Content in a box, an image-slider box, to be specific. Not only does it offer a stunning overview of your Content, it does so in a quick, entertaining manner that cannot fail to snag the attention of even the most casual visitor to your blog.

The plugin’s editor allows users to create as many ‘boxed’ snapshots of their posts as necessary in order to show the highlights deemed appropriate to whet a visitor’s appetite & have them sufficiently engaged, so that they actually bother to read your post.

Posts can be set out as selected points of interest with personalized text box overlays, which offer a choice of fonts, overlay positions & color schemes. A ‘‘Story View” button, which can also be personalized, can be set up as a header for your post, giving visitors an option to taste before they read. This nifty tool can be added to your post by adding the plugin via the WordPress plugin marketplace, & should see your visitor engagement grow at a snapping pace.
