With the number of apps running into 1000s, developers re-invent the wheel daily. There are several elements common to most mobile apps which developers need; sign-up, register, lost password, user profile, product display, shopping cart, image display to name a few.
‘DecoUIkit’ has produced a User Interface (UI) kit of screen designs which offers to develop these components from scratch. The team behind the design tool app comprises 2 designers & 2 developers. It’s for designers who use Sketch, Photoshop, Figma or Adobe Xd software, but it’s also for Android developers & Ionic 3 developers. So, it means that you can make apps for iOS & Android with the same design.”
The entire concept lightens the load for app builders & allows them to skip the tedious task of constructing basic layouts.
The team offers 4 products:
- DecoUIkit for Iconic 3
- DecoUIkit for Android
- DecoUIkit for Design
- DecoUIkit Bundle, which is a combination of the 3 above & comes at a discounted price.
For Iconic3, the user would need Node.Js & Cordova (Apache), as well as the Iconic framework install. Another requirement would be the Android Studio SDK environment. Additionally, if the 3rd “Design” option is to be used, the 4 basic elements described above by Morales would need to be installed.
