You can access your fav Sites now without Net connection, thanks to this new smartphone app

kommuteWhether you’re a commuter on the subway, you are on a flight, in some out of the way location, or simply have run out of credit on your data plan, ‘Kommute’ can be a life saver. This iOS app claims to be the only app that serves you the latest Websites without an Internet connection.

Kommute intelligently crawls the Web pages for data that you need to browse your favorite Websites when you’re disconnected. It reminds you that it’s time to download news & entertainment Sites, when you’re still connected to a WiFi connection & before you set out on your commute.

Since Websites can be pretty large, can take a long time to download & can strain your browsing experience, Kommute is smart about downloading anything in the background when you don’t want it to. The app is simple to use, you just have to add you favorites & Kommute will handle the rest.

The new app was released & is under development by the New York, US-based startup Red Brick Labs. As its New York founders attest to, this new smartphone app is aimed at the commuting masses who use iPhones, & who are liable to get stuck underground on their long trips back & forth from work without a cellular signal. This app definitely alleviates the tedium & boredom of these long rides & makes this otherwise lost time much more productive. The ability to browse Websites as if you actually had a data connection can be a godsend & can make commute times much more productive & enjoyable.

The app is free & can be downloaded here from the Apple App Store. It has the following compatibility requirements: requires iOS 9.0 or later, compatible with iPhone, iPad, & iPod touch.
