Mac app ‘Keep It’ is notebook, scrapbook & organizer, ideal for writing notes, saving Web links, storing documents, images or any kind of file, & of course, finding them again. Keep It is the successor to ‘Together’.
Reinvented Software is a United Kingdom-based independent software company founded by devoted Mac developer & user Steve Harris. Harris made his debut as an app developer in April 2004 when he created Together. KIT, which was renamed together after the release of version 2.0, is a file & document organizer that lets users instantly save their work.
Launched in August 2017 to Max, IPad & iPhone devices, Keep It allows older users of “Together” to be able to import all their libraries to Keep It, while new users will find an app that lets them seamlessly interface with any Apple product to store files, docs, & images.
Keep It users will never have to worry about losing a doc or file again, since the Keep It applications utilize an instant save feature that saves the user’s file within the Cloud. Retrieval is only a matter of accessing the app on any Apple product. Deleted items will remain for up to 30 days before they are permanently removed; this allows users ample opportunity to make sure that they do not mistakenly delete any important files – something we all have done.
The app also includes its very own notation platform complete with an assortment of utilities such as checklists, bullets, links, word count, attachments & image insertion. Keep It also allows users to preview & edit through the generation of thumbnails that offer a summary of the file in need of editing. Folders are capable of displaying all the contents that are nested within the folders. Keep It contains many more features that allows users to make sure that their files are safe & well-organized.
