‘Voicemod’ is a platform that allows you to add real time voice changes to your app. The tool helps you increase engagement between your app’s users, & incorporates voice changes by using a simple SDK. This will add up to 35 voices to your app.
How to add the Voicemod SDK:
Integration of the tool is easy & takes less than 20 mins. The SDK is also optimized for low CPU. Therefore, it works great in low-end devices without any latency or noise. For the iOS SDK, the developers claim you must connect an iPhone for testing since the iOS simulator can’t be used for audio in real time. To add the SDK to your app, you’ll need to add the main framework required to use Voicemod.
These frameworks are provided in the download file. You just need to drag & drop from the root of the Voicemod SDK folder into your project within Xcode. In addition, to use the tools background sounds, you’ll need to add the Voice Data folder to your project. According to the developers, this SDK is ideal for various apps. If you have video streaming app, you can use it to modify the app’s voices & add extra audio effects. In addition, you can integrate the tool into your face filter apps. Adding a voice to the changing faces on your filter app will make them more engaging.
Besides, the Voicemod can be added to your VoIP calls, allowing your users to make “funny” calls & pull your leg. The tool’s voice changes are ‘live’, therefore, it doesn’t work by using a playback. With the Voicemod you can also opt to stick with talking mode which allows users not to add any effects to the original voice. The SDK also has other tools which you can use to transform existing audio either in a video or audio file. Currently, Voicemod only offers the iOS SDK but claim that they’ll soon release the Android SDK. To download the SDK, you’ll need to create an account using your email.
