From this week, any Google Cloud Platform (GCP) customer who joins the public Google Group can add the ‘Quick, Draw’ API to their library by searching for it & adding it to a project.
Quick, Draw is an interactive Web project by Google’s Creative Lab started in November 2016. It has collected over 1 billion drawings across 345 categories, 50 million of which Google open-sourced last year.
Here’s what Google said:
Over 15 million players have contributed millions of drawings playing Quick, Draw!These doodles are a unique data set that can help developers train new neural networks, help researchers see patterns in how people around the world draw, and help artists create things we haven’t begun to think of. That’s why we’re open-sourcing them, for anyone to play with.
