Google introduces auto-lock feature in Android OS as extra device protection

Google has added a feature to Android that could keep your instrument safe from misuse. It has released a device security feature called ‘On-body’ detection. This uses the smartphone’s accelerometer to understand if the phone is in a user’s hand or in the pocket. If the feature detects that your phone is not in one of those 2 places, it will automatically lock.  Which means even if somebody steals the phone, he/she will not be able to unlock it.
Here’s how you can use it: Once you unlock your phone, it will remain unlocked as long as it’s in your hand or pocket. Once the device is put down on a table or bed, it will automatically lock again. When you wanna use it, you’ll be required to unlock it.
