Good riddance? WordPress plugin aims at password free logins – #Startups

password free loginsPassword free logins, anyone? If you’ve ever used WordPress to run a blog or Website, chances are you may have forgotten your password on more than 1 occasion. The procedure to reset password can take time & cause distraction. ‘Byepass’, a WordPress plugin, enables users to dispense with the need to remember their password.

Moreover, for developers running more than 1 WordPress system, forgetting password is a common problem. Bloggers may find themselves in a similar position too, since they often write on 3rd party systems that require authentication before use.

The plugin aims to find its support among users who find it annoying to enter password on every login occasion; having to enter login details regularly too can deter users from effecting necessary changes to their WordPress Site or may restrict writers from updating blogs. So here’s a new way of password free logins.

The new WordPress plugin can be installed manually into /wp-content/plugin/byepass directory, or via the WordPress plugins directory. It allows users to complete a simple process to authenticate themselves to WordPress without the need to enter a password.

Post installation, the set up involves clicking on the Byepass link on the WordPress admin panel & entering an API key which authenticates the Site with Byepass servers. Now, the next time you need to login to this particular admin section on WordPress, all that is required is the email address associated with the system. No more passwords, less hassle, easy login.

Clearly, WordPress Site owners will find this system useful – as they will save on time & irritation in the process. The Byepass plugin is available for download or install via WordPress plugins listings on its admin panel.
