So who the h$#@ sends out a fax these days? Believe it or not, in toda’s day & age of Instant Messaging & emails there are apparently guys out there who still send out facsimilie messages. ‘Fax.to’ is an Online service that allows you to send your fax securely around the world, without a fax machine.
To use Fax.to follow these steps:
- On their homepage, from the drop-down, you are allowed to select the country where you want to send your fax.
- Then, you can now upload your .PDF, JPG, PNA, TIFF from your device. You can do this by dragging & dropping the file you want to fax on the field provided.
- After this, it uses an algorithm that determines your total cost. Therefore, the quote field updates automatically with the fax’s cost.
- Finally, you can click on the ‘send my fax’ option which will take you to submission of payment details & a short registration process.
You should note that, for you to use fax.to, you need to sign up for the service. This is to allow for verification of emails before sending a fax. The quoted amount depends on whether you will be using the service to send a one-time fax or as a regular pay as you go, client.
These chaps also offer fax to email, & fax business numbers to allow you to receive fax anytime & anywhere. However, this service is at a cost. Can you use this service for broadcast services? Well, the developers have included this feature to allow you to send a fax to multiple recipients at a go.
In addition, with their RESTful API, you can send your faxes programmatically from within your application. Fax.to also sends you a confirmation email to notify you if the fax is successfully sent. You can also check your fax history to see the fax statuses.
With fax.to you can send a fax from your iPhone, iPad or Android device. This service is provided by Intergo Fax Services Ltd, located in Paphos, Cyprus.
