‘Stealthy’ is a decentralized communication platform built specifically to address issues of privacy as the well as safety of information being sent from one person to the other. While decentralization has been around for a while, it has always been restricted to a single users managing their decentralized data with no option to share that data with another person.
Stealthy provides a secure way of communicating with people without fear of their data being collected or sold without permission as it is common on a regular centralized platform. Although all data sent to Stealthy is stored in a dedicated Microsoft Azure Blob which is essentially a centralized platform, however, it is more secure than your usual centralized storage since it is impossible for anyone to access it. Also, you can connect your Blockstack Browser to your own cloud storage. This way you have an exclusive right over all of your data.
Stealthy is pretty easy to use. You simply download the app, log in with you Blockstack ID & start communicating with other users in the channels or message your friends directly. Stealthy is free for personal use, for now, some paid features might be introduced subsequently.
