‘Cnverg’ is a real time collaboration & visual planning platform

real time collaboration

‘Cnverg’ is being billed by it’s developers as the world’s “1st real time collaborative workflow & business process visualization platform.”

The concept is to provide a collaboration platform that brings interaction directly to each collaborator, regardless of whether individual members of your team are in 1 place or spread around the world.

It’s supposed to provide an “everyone-in-the-same-room” level of responsiveness with a shared visual workspace that lives in the Cloud.

All the members of your team can collaborate, in real time, on everything from GitHub issues to sticky notes, images, text, & whiteboarding tools.

The GitHub integration is particularly interesting, because Cnverg allows you to link your GitHub repos & pull issues into a space as interactive cards to assess, prioritize, assign, tag, create & close issues. You are also able to embed other Cnverg spaces to create custom dashboards to coordinate projects or planning sessions on the fly.

Another appealing factor is that there is no app or software that you need to download & install. You can simply fire it securely in a browser & start off with your workspace is in the Cloud, which makes it completely device-independent.

The Cnverg collaboration platform has a free version that includes 5 spaces, 5 collaborators, 5GB of storage & unlimited public GitHub repos. Premium plans start from US $10/month ($100/year) Pro Plan, providing 10GB of storage for 25 spaces, 10 collaborators, unlimited public GitHub repos, & 10 private GitHub repos.

There’s also a Business Plan at $20/month, & you can contact the developers for customized enterprise needs. The Pro & Business plans have a 15-day trial version, if you want to give it a test run.

Cnverg was developed by Austin, Texas, US-based MUNI Tech, LLC. The company was founded in 2013 by John Kirk & Richard Prieto, & has raised $270,000 in 4 rounds from 2 investors.
