‘Foundler’ is a platform that hosts Online startup weekends on a weekly basis. What stands out with foundler is that it allows you to attend from anywhere in the world, since it’s Online. Therefore, you can participate with no travel requirements necessary.
These Web-based events are expected to help entrepreneurs with support & resources. With this, they can create & launch a successful startup from anywhere in the world. In addition, it gets to develop your team & collaboration skills.
To participate in an upcoming weekend event, you are required to register, then create your ticket. In the ticket, you provide your age, language as well as the country you are from. In addition, you are to provide your skills with 1 entry per field.If you are good in Website development, for example, then just list it in the ‘skills’ field.
How foundler works
Foundler will send you a notification within 24 hours of registering indicating whether you’ve been selected to participate in the weekend event or not. If you are successful, you are placed in a team with 3 other participants, 2 days before the event begins. The criteria for choosing your partners is based on the set skills, time zones & languages. The platform ensures that the identity of the team members is hidden until the weekend event begins.
Finally, when the weekend event starts, your team will be given 48 hours to create & launch your startup. Then, you submit the startup to a panel of “guest” judges. After all the weekend’s teams have presented their startups, foundler announces the winning team.
Foundler is also looking for sponsors, who can provide support & resources to the platform.
This startup is developed by Ryan Heybourn, also the CEO. It is located in Panama.
