A new poll tool is born – #Startups

online polls[sg_popup id=”12″ event=”onload”][/sg_popup]Feedback is an important way for gauging a lot of things such as the satisfaction levels of your customers, for example. There are various ways to obtain such feedback but asking questions is likely to bring about the most clarity. The most common form of doing this is by giving out surveys. Paper surveys are somewhat inconvenient & may need a little extra work in order to provide results.

Electronic surveys generate feedback quicker given the prevalence of smartphones in the current society. Any survey or poll circulated through convenient forms of communication is bound to give better feedback than its paper alternatives.

Polltime is a new Online tool that helps users generate such polls. People using it basically put in a question for a survey. They also put in a couple of answers to choose from in the options section. These options are then embedded with a link.  Polltime allows for only one question at a time. Once done with this section the user will be asked to provide their email address. This allows them access to the Polltime dashboard to see the results of their poll.

Users will customize options such as how long the voting process will take place & a thank you message to participants. After the above steps, 1 only needs to click on the ‘make my poll’ link to generate a poll. This can then be exported to a number of text platforms via copy-pasting.

The responsibility then falls on the user to circulate the poll via text. Once the message is received people will vote by clicking on any of the options available. When the voting period is over, Polltime will tally the results & give percentages, accordingly. The app also provides a map representation of the people who took part in that particular poll.

Polltime was launched in 2017. Their service is free to use.
