A New York Times report has said 3 major Instant Messaging companies – WhatsApp, Telegram & Signal are planning to launch cryptocurrencies from next year.
The aim is to allow users to send money to contacts on their messaging systems, it added.
One of the most secret ones is by Facebook. The company is working on a coin that users of WhatsApp, which Facebook owns, could send to friends & family instantly, said the NYT report.
