Google announced that its auto-resetting Android 11 permissions will be made available to older devices, in which the operating system will restrict an app’s access to sensitive phone features, such as storage and cameras, if it hasn’t been opened for several months. The feature was originally launched with Android 11 last Google says the service should be available on “billions” of Android phones released since 2015 if they run Android 6 and up and have Google Play services.
