Apple loves to not only keep itself busy but also developers. Barely under a week after it launched the final version of its mobile OS, the iOS 8.3, Apple has released the 1st cut of a new version of the iOS. The iOS 8.4 has hit Apple developers with something interesting – a re-worked music service.
Not to be confused with the upcoming Beats Music-based streaming product that Apple is said to be toying with, this 1 seems to be an overhaul of the core ‘Music’ app. It has a new design, to start off with, with a new MiniPlayer & ‘Now Playing’ views, plus personalised playlists, high resolution images of artists in the artists’ view and new quick play shortcuts.
Apple has been reportedly approaching various singers including teen throb Taylor Swift with offers to signing up with for Beats streaming. Apple had bought Beats, a music company, in May last year, & is said to be on the cusp of re-launching it.
