Amazon has added voice integration into its Android app for Alexa. Which means users can speak directly into their handsets, the way they would with their Amazon Echo, & issue verbal commands.
This is different from the process so far, which was using the Alexa app for merely managing settings for the smart speaker & so on.
The update will be rolled out over the coming days through Google Play & Amazon’s own Appstore.
