Advertisers, brands, social media networks join hands to tackle spurious Content – Quick wrap

News agency Reuters reports that 16 big advertisers have linked up with Facebook, Twitter & Google’s YouTube “to do more to tackle dangerous & fake Content Online.”

Called the Global Alliance for Responsible Media, the Front also includes media buying agencies from the major ad groups – WPP, IPG, Publicis, Omnicom and Dentsu – as well as the platform owners.
