Because this Smartphone Application ensures that your friends or colleagues or family members even, can keep a check on the habits or goals you set for yourself, & motive you to achieve them, forcing you occasionally to shake off your complacency. You can do the same good turn for your friends' habit targets.
The main aim of this iPhone App though is to make you list the habits or goals or tasks you set for yourself to achieve in the future. Eg: I will go for a swim every alternate day, or, I will drink water every hour.
