Okay, folks. YouTube has became the top grossing iPhone app in the US on Tuesday for the 1st time. This according to app store intelligence firm Sensor Tower, which added that the US was the only country where YouTube’s iPhone app had ever hit No. 1.
YouTube app, in the US market, has never gone beyond the No: 3 slot. Experts feel 1 reason for the push to the numero uno slot could be because of YouTube Red, launched a few years ago. The month after Red’s launch, the YouTube iPhone app jumped all the way up to No. 6.
