You can now create skills for Amazon’s Alexa

Alexa blueprint

That’s right. Amazon has just stolen the march over Apple’s digital voice assistant Siri. Its launched Alexa Blueprints, which helps an average user create personal skills for Alexa in minutes.

Based on a template approach, a user does not need to have any coding skills. All he/she needs to do is select a template, fill in the blanks, & hey, Alexa, it’s done. Personalized skills created with Blueprints will be assigned to devices registered to a specific Amazon account & will not appear among the more than 30,000 skills in the Alexa Skills Store.

Right now, this is only open to US users, though.
