Use simple shortcuts to share screenshots of your PC screen with ‘Snaggy’

Rarely do we send a screenshot without cropping or hiding some private info on the image. With Snaggy, a tool you can use to share screenshots across the Web with a single click easily, thus editing is made simple.

Snaggy allows you to do this with a simple Alt –Print Screen on Windows & Cmd + Ctrl + Shift + 3 on Mac. After uploading with a single key press, you can then edit the screenshot without needing to download/install anything.

How to use Snaggy on Windows:

  1. Click on the window you want to screenshot.
  2. After this, press Alt + Print Screen. To do this, you do not need the Snaggy Website to be open. This will store the snapshot of your screen & save it to your clipboard.
  3. You can then log in to your Snaggy account & paste the snapshot using Ctrl + V. Also; press Ctrl + C to copy the image’s URL to your clipboard.

How to use Snaggy on Mac:

  1. For Mac, the screen capture shortcut is Command + Control + Shift + 3 for the whole screen.
  2. This shortcut is pressed just once. This copy’s the snapshot of what’s on your screen in your clipboard.
  3. You can then paste the image on Snaggy. Like in Windows, the image’s URL can be copied to your clipboard. You simply press Cmd + C.

Creating an account on the platform is free. The images stored will last in your account as long as you view them at least once in 6 months. You can access your pasted images from your profile page. In case you want to delete an image, you just click on the trash can button.
