‘Look’ is a social media platform which facilitates back & forth video chatting. The video chatting can be accompanied by other chat features as well. The app is a decent innovation that aims to transform the ease & efficiency with which family & friends can communicate.
Some of these features incorporated include:
i) Adding a Text to a ‘Look’
Since Look is simply video messaging, you can spice up the chat a little more by making use of the texting feature. You can add a text by clicking on the paintbrush icon or the T. This icon can be found in your video’s lower left corner. The color of your brush & hence your text’s font color can be altered using a color bar. To open the color bar, app users have to press the paintbrush icon located in the top right corner.
ii) GIFs feature
Like many other chatting apps, Look offers a range of chat features including GIFs. You can access numerous GIFs by tapping on the GIF button. You will be able to see this button in the bottom left corner of your text bar. In addition, you can search the specific GIF using the GIF’s keyword.
iii) Use Live Videos on Look
Look users can make use of ‘live’ videos. To send a ‘live’ video, ensure that your camera is down, then tap on the blue start button to begin video recording.
iv) Emojis
Every social media fan loves using emojis. Emojis are also available on Look. In addition, to use emojis, you must 1st enable the emoji keyboard on the app.
v) Send Photos
It also gives you the possibility of sending photos. To send a photo tap on the plus icon which is to the left of your text bar. Click on the photo that you would to send & click send.
The app is available for both Android & iOS users.
The startup’s founder & CEO is Luke Orthwein. He is also the founder for Lynk Messenger, an app that allows its users to chat privately for free via low-energy Bluetooth. Look is based in San Francisco, California.
