Use ‘Fizzl’ to get quick feedback about your designs

If you’re a UX designer you’re well aware that getting good timely feedback on your mockups is not easy to do. Fizzl lets you take your sketch or mockup & share it with teammates & users in seconds with a unique url that you can integrate in Slack to automate the communication process.

To use Fizzl, you start out with a Sketch file in the tag editor. You tag specific stages of your workflow to assist the people that will be giving you feedback. Then you share the Fizzl with teammates & users in just seconds by copying the unique url.

The feedback timeout is 24 hours, which keeps your iteration loop tight & keeps out massive commenting from other teammates or users. This isn’t conducive to constructive 1 on 1 criticism & there are no additional filters besides the ones you get from each user.

You can easily respond to comments on your latest iteration & always get blunt & honest, non-intermediated feedback. People that give feedback have a maximum of 100 characters to express it & have to choose a sentiment from among a set of emoticons. This encourages early & often iterations, is efficient & cuts back on development time.

The product follows lean development practices & improves design transparency by getting your whole team, as well as users, involved in the design & iteration process. That is, you get both internal & external feedback quickly without the poor experience you’d get for this purpose with a pinboard or prototyping tool.

Fizzl is a London, UK-based startup. The makers claim that it is “the fastest way for Designers to fetch feedback from teammates & users.” At the moment Fizzl is in late stage development & you can request free early access to the tool from the product site here.
