‘Tunnello’ lets you browse securely & access blocked Content

unblocking websites

If you’re travelling abroad & want to access Content in the US, UK, or even blocked Content in some other countries, you need to set up a clunky & slow VPN to do so. ‘Tunnello’ is an extension for the popular & cross-platform Chrome browser that is 10X faster than VPN tech while remaining equally secure.

The extension claims to be use leading edge tech (HTTP2+TLS) in an encrypted tunnel over an RSA-4096-bit certificate.  This guarantees a fast VPN/Proxy setup that makes it ideal for fast Web browsing & lagless video streaming. With this solution, they claim, you can legally watch virtually any TV channel from abroad, such as Hulu,ABC. NBC, BBC, TF1, M6…

Tunnello gives you a secure connection with unrestricted Internet access at your fingertips. So, not only can you have unrestricted access to TV & streaming Content, but you’ll be able to access popular social Sites, which are blocked in some countries, like Skype, Twitter, Facebook… It allows you to have completely anonymous access with high-grade encryption, so you can also access public Wi Fi hotspots without worrying about getting hacked.

It’s also cross-platform, so any device with a Google Chrome browser, including Windows, Mac & Linux machines, will be able to take advantage of Tunnello. Currently, you can select 14 different countries from which to report your IP address, including France, USA, UK, Canada, Ireland, Germany, Spain, Holland, China, Belgium, India, Russia, Japan…  so you can practically unblock any geo-blocked Content. You can even contact Tunnello through Facebook or Twitter & ask for more countries to be added.

Tunnello is based in France & has started beta testing on the product in March of this year. They have already launched in 13 different countries, including some with very strict censorship policies, giving users there a good tool for accessing the “real” Internet by bypassing firewalls & deep packet inspection.

You can download the extension in the Chrome Web Store here for free. The company says that once the extension completes beta testing they will market a paid premium version, but that they will keep a free version available as well.
