‘Tline’ creates timelines from any Web Content

When you read news items or other Content on the Web it’s often difficult to make sense of it if it’s not placed in context for you. Very often you just lack information on a person’s or a company’s background. How & when was it formed? How did it grow to become what it is today? Now you can let Tline organize this info for you & present it in a beautiful, easy to consume timeline.

To use Tline you just join up with a free account & create as many timelines as you want by filling in in the details for a series of timeline points & their associated events, dates, articles… When the process is completed for each timeline, you can publish it to an URL of your choice which you can reference from your own Website or blog. You can also share your timelines to Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest.

The aim of Tline, according to CEO & Co-founder Avishay Ovadia, is to give Content creators, like people that are profiling companies on blog posts, a powerful tool for building engaging timelines for stories that adds the context a reader needs. A bunch of excellent examples of timelines for well-known companies are presented on their website: LinkedIn, AirBnb, WeWork, Snapchat, Slack… where you can check out the capabilities of the platform for yourself.

You can also timeline general news items, like Donald Trump’s campaign & US presidential election triumph, which is also given as an example, or tech news background, like “when were famous domains registered?”

Tline is a recently formed Israeli startup which has gathered critical acclaim for its service. It was selected as 1 of the 60 top promising startups by the Next Web’s ‘Fastest Growing Companies in Tech’ & will appear at the upcoming SCALE conference in New York.
