Talking tech on your iOS device now is easy with ‘TechMoji’

techmojiThe emojis that come pre-installed on your iPhone or iPad are pretty good if you’re communicating with most people, but if you’re a nerd or a tech geek, they’re sorely lacking. That’s why you may want to download this app which includes a fun set of tech-related emojis & have fun expressing yourself with your tech colleagues & friends.

With the iOS 10 release last month, Apple introduced a wider set of emojis than had been previously available, including gendered emojis, but if you’re trying to express tech-related ideas or emotions in your texts or chats, you still need something more. Since nerds were the 1st to use emojis, which have their roots in the emoticons originally employed by programmers & sysops, it’s only fitting that their needs for expression also be taken into account.

Emojis were 1st used in Japanese mobile phones in the 1990s. In fact the word emoji is Japanese & means pictograph. But since then they have gained extensive popularity around the world & in all sorts of devices. Apple included them in the keyboard of their original iPhone & they have since evolved & greatly gained in popularity, both in the iPhone as well as in the competing Android platform.

The makers of TechMoji claim that this app allows you to:

Perfectly express yourself at the office, your next conference or your next funding round.

Finally – an app that understands what it’s like to work in tech!

The emojis that come with TechMoji include emojis for booth duty, DreamForce 16, fire leads, bad leads, booth scanners & a lot more. It’s also got sales & marketing, account-based & marketing emojis.

The app is under development by San Francisco Bay Area, California, USA-based techie & software engineer Troy Conquer, who is CTO for Go Nimbly, a software development, design, marketing & sales systems service provider.
