Take ‘Responsive Screenshots’ for your mockups at click of button

If you want to take screenshots of a Website for a bunch of different screen formats then you need this free Web service. With Responsive Shots you enter a URL & seconds later you’re presented with jpgs ranging from an iPhone to an iMac 27 inch screen capture.

The tool allows you to take screenshots from different viewports at once, then preview them, download each one, or get them all in 1 zip file. Responsive screenshots is pretty complete if you’re looking for Apple device screenshots, with a smaller number of non-Apple devices also supported. You can select up to 4 device formats at once: a desktop, a laptop, a tablet & a smartphone.

Within the desktop range, you can choose from a Dell UltraSharp U3415W, the Apple Thunderbolt, iMac 2.5 & iMac 27, with resolutions ranging from 1920×1080 px to 3440×1440 px.

The laptops are all Apple devices: Macbook Air 11 & 13, & Macbook Pro 13 & 15. The resolutions go from 1280×800 px to 1440×900 px. Meanwhile for tablets, 3 different iPads are available: iPad, iPad Pro & iPad Pro 9.7 (all of them 168×1024 px, except for one of the Pros that’s 1024×1366). A Galaxy Tab III & Nexus 10 is also available at 800×1280 px.

Finally, the smartphone lineup consists of 4 different iPhones: iPhoneX, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6 & iPhone 5, as well as 2 different Samsung Galaxies: the S8 & the S7. The resolutions range from 320×568 px all the way to the iPhone X’s 375×957 px.

Responsive Screenshots is being developed by Belgian UI/product designer & developer Sidney Ottelohe. The Web app is free to use & is built using the Express Node.js Web application framework.
