Taiwan’s MediaTek sets up $300 fund for global startups

Well-known chipset maker from Taiwan MediaTek recently announced the setting up of a fund for startups from across the globe. The US $300 mln fund is part of its new investment arm, MediaTek Ventures. Following in the footsteps of Qualcomm & Intel, the fund is meant for Internet of Things, Internet infrastructure & services’ startups.
