Group communication from anywhere with ‘Mobilize’

With the introduction of its new iOS app, Mobilize now extends its group communications solution from the Web to the mobile.

‘Mobilize’ is a communication hub for groups, & in 1 simple app can be an alternative to & also integrate the functionality of multiple products like Google Groups, Meetup, Slack, Mailchimp, CRM, & up to 9 other tools.

As the company states in its mission statement:

Mobilize was founded as a result of a simple observation: businesses have transformed how they create products, provide services, distribute solutions, & scale globally. In the wave of the new economy, network relationships matter…

They go on to say that what Mobilize aims for is to change the way that groups within a company or brand interact with their partners:

partners don’t want to be managed like employees, nor be marketed to like customers. They want to build meaningful relationships & be treated as partners. Yet businesses still rely on the same management & communication playbook they have used for more than a decade…

Mobilize wants to put critical partner contributions in lockstep with communication tactics & provides a “Network Relationship Management” solution. This helps networked organizations to “recruit, onboard, manage & mobilize their partners into action via communication experiences that are relevant, helpful & actionable”.

Mobilize relies on a Member Directory, which will organize & manage contact data using a robust database with subgroups & profiles. The multi-channel communication features allows members to send SMS, group emails, polls & event invites, all without forcing contacts to log in to another platform. It also provides users with smart analytics to gauge participation & engagement.

With Mobilize’s Directory you can easily sort though members to create cohorts & filter through member data to make sure your target cohort is being reached. The members can then reply from wherever they wish, be it Mobilize, email, text messaging…

The platform is flexible regarding how social you want it to be, by giving you the choice of having a centralized location with all member content, or a less structured community with ad-hoc socialization.

Mobilize is based, both in Tel Aviv, Israel & San Francisco, California, USA, & was founded by Sharon Savariego & Arthur Vainer. You can sign up for free & use their Web app or their iOS app, which you can get at the Apple Store here. The platform is currently being used by companies like Microsoft, Prezi & Docker.

The platform is free for up to 100 users & 1 group, & then, there are paid plans, too.
