Starting this month, you can rate & review your devices on techcrusher, a Website set up for “honest” user reviews. What it means is that you can judge the quality of a mobile product with reviews from your peers, making it easier to decide whether or not to go in for the said product. The Website is in beta now, & the Belgium based developers are requesting feedback from the public. Typically, in beta, there are minor irritants, but all the major wrinkles would have been ironed out.
Techcrusher’s tagline claims – Personal tech reviews. Once you register, you can type the name of the product on the ‘Find your tech’ bar, & write a review of your own device, you will be able to access other reviews from users. This allows you to make a smart decision for your next mobile device purchase. For instance, the Samsung Galaxy S5 has 1 review, with the parameters being display, value, performance, battery life & design.
The 3 main categories of devices are phone, Tablet & smart watch.
