‘Rebump’ gets your emails back on top of your recipients’ Inbox

rebump

With ‘rebump’ you can automate the process of emailing reminders or follow-up messages to recipients that aren’t answering responding.  You can customize these reminders, making them look as if you’ve actually sent them yourself & then easily keep track of reminders & responses. This tool is primarily meant to help increase engagement with prospects in email marketing campaigns.

Rebump is installed simply by adding an extension to your browser, or on unsupported browsers or mobile platforms, by adding BCC bump@go.rebump.cc after you set up a rebump account. After clicking on a tick box on the extension (or with the CC option) & assigning the text used on your follow-ups & the max number of bumps (you can’t go beyond 4), you just set back & let the tool do its thing for any messages that you want “rebumped.” Rebump will keep sending the customized follow ups at set intervals & it’ll stop when the recipient responds.

It’s easy to see where people might find this service a bit overbearing, as most recipients simply may not respond because they’re simply not interested in what you have to tell them, or don’t want to buy whatever it is you’re selling. But if you look at it from a marketer’s viewpoint, you could argue that you’re gently nudging your prospects towards giving your product/service a chance & not writing it off at first glance. For some campaigns it could be a useful tool, but you better think about it before you risk alienating your prospects or client base.

You can get rebump for a 30 free day at their Website or on the Chrome Web store, & if you want to continue using it there’s an ‘Unlimited’ plan that costs US$ 5/mo that includes:

  • Specify bump days & times
  • Works with most email clients
  • Dashboard to monitor all emails
  • Activity digest emails
