‘Markdowntoweb’ is a publishing platform that will enable you to convert markdown text to Online Web page. After launching Author, which is a writing & publishing app, the developers at United Flag decided to introduce markdowntoweb so that more people will be able to use this app’s services. This web app allows you to share your Content independently & in a new way different from other markdown tools.
Markdown is a lightweight markup language that was created by John Gruber in 2004. It allows you to write using an easy to read, easy to write plain text format which is then convert into HTML.
Markdowntoweb gives you the same layouts the Author app has hence no need for downloading the app. Another great catch is that with this tool you will use these layouts even if you use other markdown tools. Author is only available for Mac users hence markdowntoweb eases up on this limitation.
Although the app seems to be an Online editor/writing tool it is made to mainly help you with sharing markdown text with maybe a friend or your 1000 followers. It will allow you to focus on Content & its structure because it does the formatting automatically & live & then presents the final published work.
This tool will literary bring you true independent publishing. You decide where you share your Content & how you organize the work you’ve written. Another catch is that this Content will be displayed on any device with optimized reading experience. You will not need to make a Website or blog to get your Content published.
Markdowntoweb is a free platform. After pasting your markdown text or uploaded a markdown file you will be required to submit your name & email. This tool is developed by United Flags & is powered by Author. It is located in Bratislava, Slovakia.
