Paris, Silicon Valley-located in-app ad sales startup Appsfire bought by French group

It’s a merger that could well mean the ushering in of new synergy in the mobile advertising marketing. The Paris & Silicon Valley-located Appsfire was  acquired recently by the French Mobile Network Group (MNG).  In a press release, MNG said 1 of its reasons for buying Appsfire was that the network, which has clients in 45 countries, also had a US presence, where, incidentally, MNG has none. Appsfire had started off as a search & discovery app but switched to the lucrative in-app advertising sales market, which is estimated to be worth US $4.6 billion in the U.S. in 2015. Seems like the move paid off. The terms of the buyout remained undisclosed, though.
