Opera ‘Touch’ & ‘Flow’

Opera browserOpera may be lagging in the browser race but it sure is putting up a fight. It has launched a new browser for mobile called ‘Touch’ & a fresh version for the PC with a feature called ‘Flow’ that allows seamless transition between desktop & mobile versions of the browser.

When you launch the browser, the keyboard’s already up & the cursor’s already blinking on the address bar — all you need to do is start typing what you want to search for. There’s also a new ‘Fast Action Button’ at the bottom of the screen, which gives you a way to quickly switch between the most recent tabs & the search function.

Then, there’s Flow. This allows a seamless connect between your phone & PC browsers. You’d only to activate Flow once: after you update to the latest version of Opera on your desktop, simply activate the feature & scan the QR code that pops up with the Touch browser. Once that’s done, anything you add to Flow on 1 device is accessible on the other. Plus, it’s all encrypted.
