Microsoft has reminded users that it will stop support for browser Internet Explorer versions 8, 9, & 10 from Jan. 12. All 3 versions are reaching ‘end of life’, meaning they’re no longer supported by Microsoft.
A patch, which will go Online from January 12, will ask IE users on launch to upgrade to a modern browser. Over 16 months ago, Microsoft had announced that support for legacy versions would be ending on January 12. All this is to gently move users to Windows 10 & Edge, say reports.
