According to its developers, GamerLink gives you a true gaming freedom not afforded on other platforms. It allows you to choose from over 100 titles in all major platforms. Also, the app ensures that you get to connect with other like-minded gamers irrespective of the game of platform.
GamerLink’s library allows you to choose from across PS4, PS3, XBOX ONE, XBOX 360, Wii, Wii U, PC, STEAM, ORIGIN as well as BATTLENET. In addition, this app will help you to join new teams, make new friends & obviously climb the leaderboards. GamerLink concentrates more on the beacons. Therefore, you are able to select a game & make a post indicating how you are looking to play. The platform also supports the use of hashtags to help you easily connect with like-minded gamers.
Another feature that stands out with GamerLink is its ‘live’ feed. This displays beacons to you as friends who play the same games as you post them. GameLink also allows you to add your gaming info & show off your games on your profile from all platforms you play in, hence making connecting easy.
For easier messaging with friends, GamerLink provides you with a universal friend’s list containing gamers that you’ve already connected with. Therefore, you can easily keep up with what game they are playing as well as set up game sessions. In addition, they have incorporated a hashtag search function to help you filter beacons when finding your perfect matches.
The free app is available for both iOS & Android devices. The iOS app supports 3 languages: English, German & Spanish. It requires iOS 8.0 or later for compatibility with your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. The Android version requires your device to run Android 4.1 & up for compatibility.
