New feature by Google allows you to share best gaming moments on YouTube

googleplayrecorshareSearch engine Google has launched a feature that could be a delight for digital gamers. The new feature on the Google Play Games app now lets gamers record & share with others their own ‘best gaming’ moments from mobile games.

Making this announcement from its official Android blog, Google explained: In the Play Games app, select any game you want to play, then tap the record button. You can capture your gameplay in 720p or 480p, & choose to add video of yourself & commentary via your device’s front facing camera & microphone. When you’re done recording, you can quickly edit & upload your video to YouTube.

Gameplay recording will rollout 1st in US & UK over the coming days, & will be available in more countries soon after.

Elsewhere, some Online reports seemed to suggest that the new feature was clearly meant to help Google increase the amount of video game-related Content housed on YouTube – content which now has its own dedicated mobile application, thanks to this summer’s debut of YouTube Gaming. There, users can browse through over 25,000 pages dedicated to specific games, where they can peruse channels, videos and even live streams.

Google says that, every month, more than 144 billion minutes of gaming videos & ‘live’ streams are watched on YouTube. Some channels like VanossGaming & TobyGames, generate millions of views.
