Socialize the smart way with ‘planme’. This is an “innovative” mobile app that allows you to manage & update your social life in real time.
With planme, you can create an event in just a few clicks. After this, you can then include a photo, location or any other detail you like. In addition, the app doesn’t limit your event to 1 place. You can add multiple venues & different timing for each venue. With this, everyone following you can know where you should be & when it is. Also, planme will share checkpoints, schedules & a route for your event with your guests.
The planme’s in-app features allow you to follow & invite friends. You can connect through Facebook or use the app’s event codes to spread the word about your event. Some of the platforms that allow you to use to send invites to your friends include: iMessage, SMS, email, Whatsapp, Facebook, etc. It helps you & your friends share comments & updates about the event. In addition, you as the event planner can keep track of who’s invited & who is going to attend.
Another interesting feature with planme is that it will ensure that everyone is in the loop with what’s happening at your event. It ensures your guests can see your location during your event. Planme saves you from endless messaging. With a click of a button, it allows you to update your plans as well as send live updates to all your guests.
Planme uses your phone’s GPS for location. Hence, it will keep running in the background meaning a dramatic decrease in your battery life. To reduce this, the app requires your location only when you are the organizer of an event & for the duration, the event is live.
Planme is only available for iOS users. It was released on App Store on Sept 13, 2016. This startup was developed by Ollie Cadman & is located in the UK.
