‘M0ve’ app brings event creators & goers together – New app

moveappThis smartphone app sits atop an ‘Events Network’ consisting of an Online community & a marketplace that helps create & experience events by bridging the gap between event goers & creators. M0ve’s aim is to help people find the events they care about while helping creators reach their target audience.

M0ve has 3 types of account – the 1st of which is meant for regular users, that is, people who just want to find events in a given area, the 2 other account types are for event creators: the ‘Venue’ account, which is for owners of businesses that put on events, & the ‘Page’ account, for people who want to promote events on behalf of a number of organizations (or for themselves) but don’t necessarily have their own venue.

If you’re a simple event “consumer”, the app is free to use, & it will allow you to match your personal preferences for choosing which events you want to attend. You can then find, view & share events with other users as well as being able to share your experiences.

At present, M0VE is in beta.

Event creators & promoters will have tools available for selling their events by simply linking a bank account. You can then market events easily to consumers based on a match with a consumer’s demographics. It comes with a registry of venues so that the event can easily be found by event organizers & promoters with different audience profiles. The Page account further adds the capability of promoting events similar to the Venue account but for people without a single user location for their events like for example a touring event held in different cities.

The Move, or M0ve/DC Design Team, is the Chicago, Illinois, USA-based startup behind the app, & defines itself as a “combination of a technology startup & entertainment company”.  The M0ve app is currently being beta tested on both, Android & iOS platforms, & you can participate by contacting the company here.
