Little known facet of Windows 10 – by default, it records your kids activities

Even as IT major Microsoft’s celebrating the fact that over 75 million devices around the world have installed Windows 10 by now, there are reports coming in that talk of some users expressing concern over a little-known facet of the new OS.

It seems Windows 10 has a hidden ” child monitoring system”, which sends out a weekly “activity update” on childrens’ Internet browsing history to the designated adults. This is a default feature.

The operating system sends a weekly note that includes a list of Websites kids have visited, how many hours per day they have spent on the computer, among other details. While some parents have welcomed this, others have criticized it, calling it “invasion of privacy”.
