Learn programming (or even cooking) from courses on this platform

Learning a new skill takes time. Traditionally, people would have to go to a school or college in order to become proficient in something they wished to learn. Nowadays, though, there are more convenient ways of learning. Online is one of them. Courses are available either on Websites or on YouTube. There is, however, a risk of running into misleading information on these mediums.

Hackr.io is a platform looking to curate various lessons & courses on different subjects & providing them to the user.

Among the lessons & tutorials available are those on programming. The user can effectively search for the programming language he wants to learn. Also available will be a few links to news & articles on any subject that the user can read if they deem it necessary.

It does not stop at programming. Additionally, there are tabs on design & cooking. The dashboards for these 2 are similar to the programming one. They also feature a search box. On the design page, one can search for various design tools such as Photoshop & Adobe After Effects. Of course, the full list features most of the other available design tools inclusive of Adobe Lightroom, Cinema 4D, Affinity Photo & many more.

Whenever lessons are displayed in any of the categories there is also information availed about who put up the tutorial. In addition, it will also be indicated whether the course is free, along with the medium of learning, & finally whether it’s a beginner or an advanced course. There are a couple of interesting features of hackr.io. People who use any of the tutorials can upvote them making it easier for others to choose from the lot. The other is you can even submit a tutorial.

The free platform is a product of co-founders Saurabh Hooda & Gaurav Gupta who are both Indian citizens. Saurabh is also the founder of Lenro an app for book readers. According to his LinkedIn profile, Gaurav is the “captain” of ‘SquareBoat’, an app building company.
