Instagram user images set to grow in size

Instagram users – here’s some good news for you. For long, images had been stuck in 640×640 pixel resolution but that’s history.
 
The Facebook-owned photo-sharing app is rolling out showing photos in 1080×1080 pixel resolution. 
 
An Instagram spokesperson confirmed to The Verge that it’s indeed working to roll out the bigger format to its iOS & Android app.
