Instagram to bring ads & analytics to ‘Stories’ – News

Instagram StoriesFacebook-owned Instagram announced on Wednesday that it was rolling out full-screen, auto-playing video ads to the ‘Stories’.

According to a post on its blog, the roll-out will start with a trial involving about 30 corporate partners & brands before the new offering is rolled out globally.

Instagram also revealed that in the 5 months after launching its Stories feature, it had 150 million daily active users using it, out of a total Instagram user base of about 600 million. In the next weeks, Instagram Business Tools will now include insights on Stories. For businesses converted to a business profile, you’ll be able to see the reach, impressions, replies & exits for each individual story within Business Tools. By viewing these insights, you can learn how to create more relevant Content that resonates with your audience.
