Hello, app developers…..Google is opening up the .app domains to all those who are interested in having such a domain. Registrations started May 1, 2018 & shall be open till May 7 under the ‘Early Access’ program, after which it will be thrown up to the general public. This comes nearly 3 years after Google paid US $25 million to gain the exclusive rights to the “.app” top-level domain.
Google requires HTTPS for all. app websites, a built-in security protects against ad malware, tracking injection by ISP. You may go to this Website, search for available .app domain names, & hey, you are set.
