Google has said ahead of the Mobile World Conference that by year end, Google Assistant, that virtual assistant, will be available in over 30 languages, (up from the present 8). This includes Danish, Dutch, Hindi, Indonesian, Norwegian, Swedish, & Thai. Google notes that the rollout will reach 95% of all eligible Android phones.
The company also said it was working closely with device manufacturers to closely integrate the Assistant & device features, using natural language understanding & the conversational interfaces of the Assistant.
