Get a grip on your digital Content – #Startup

‘Index’ is a startup that provides an Online digital Content management platform made to handle a wide array of information simultaneously. It allows you to store & manage files, images, Web links, notes & much more on the Cloud.

Index, a Web & smartphone app for iOS & Android, is the brainchild of Brian Cox, an experienced software engineer from Georgia, Atlanta, USA who started with the app 5 years ago for his personal use. He started sharing the app with his friends & acquaintances, & soon the app proved its mettle in his close circles.

This led Brian to launch the app as a full-fledged service just about a few months ago when they introduced it in Start-Up Battlefield, held at DisruptSF in San Francisco. The basic functionality of the app is to simplify the way we store, access & cross-reference our Online Content across all our devices & significantly reduce the complexity that the process entails.

What led to Brian and his team take a serious path to launch Index as a full-fledged app is that all our digital Content is not systematically & carefully managed, or to put into his own words, “is all over the place.”

There already are applications based on solving the issue such as Google Keep, which helps you to manage your digital Content. However, there are many tricky issues that one faces with their Content when they are using any of these apps. Taking notes, saving links, sharing documents becomes a tedious task when it comes to cross-platform functioning. This is what Index aims to solve by introducing cloud-based information storage that is accessible across devices & comes with an easy to use and colorful interface.

Talking about the UI of the application or the user interface, it is based on a dashboard structure that provides users with a convenient method to manage their digital Content and untangle the mesh of information that keeps piling up.

The app is free to use for the 1st 237 items ranging across categories. However, if one has a greater a more & complex use, they will have to pay a US $2 subscription fee for monthly usage.

However, what is more exciting about this app is that the developers are planning to use a technology called intelligence amplification which unlike AI aims to amplify human capability.
