‘Flynk’ is a free app for your smartphone that automatically shows the location of people in & around your immediate area, allowing you to search for interesting people that are near you with ease. New friends can be added & you can chat & find others with similar hobbies & likings.
I’m sure you’ve seen one of the phenomena most often talked about regarding smartphone use, especially when folks are hanging out or walking around, & that is that eye contact between streetfarers, at parks, events, or establishments, is practically nonexistent because everyone is staring at their phones. They literally don’t know people are around them & they’d rather text or chat their friends & social network acquaintances & await their replies.
With Flynk it’s easy to set the range of distance from your location that you wish to search out interesting people around you, as well as family or friends & connect with them; say for instance, “friends within 1 km-5 km”.
