Are you tired of the same old icons for your design projects? Well, ‘iconscout’ will let you explore 1000s of icons & icon sets picked by their experienced designers. IconScout is an icon marketplace that allows you to sell, share & exchange icons to a global audience.

If you want to buy, iconscout will allow you to access icons of different styles, file formats as well as sizes. Be it formats such as svg, pngs, icos or styles such as stack, flat or hand drawn. In addition. Iconscout has added an icon search feature. This lets you search icons according to your themes using color-based searching.

With over 40000 icons that cover multiple categories, you can count on getting whatever icon you want. Their categories range from ‘Avatar’ & ‘Smileys’, ‘User Interface’ & ‘Gestures’ to ‘Infographics’, among others.

Iconscout provides all the necessary icon sizes useful in Web & mobile development. Their icon sizes range from 16×16 pixels to 512×512 pixels. If you are working on various projects, managing each projects icons can be a bit troublesome. To help with that, Iconscout allows you to create your scout. You can have a scout for each of your projects hence making it easy to manage your icons.

How to use iconscout

To start off using this marketplace, you need to create an account. You can either create directly using your email address or use 3rd party services such as Facebook or Twitter. If you are a buyer, iconscout must verify your account for you to download an icon. To download an icon, you click on it to preview it. Then you can click on the download button on the icon preview page. Finally select the appropriate file format & size of the icon that suits you best.

Iconscout is also a platform for sellers. If you believe you have great icon designs, then you can try out this marketplace. Currently, to upload your icons, you will need to send your icon files as a compressed folder to their designers. They will then examine the icon & upload it under your name as a designer.

Additionally, you can easily follow designers whose icons interest you. You just open their profile page & click on the follow button.

This startup is developed under a community of designers by ChameDesign, a product design studio. It is located in India, making it the 1st icon marketplace in the country.
